The competition is open to all regional clubs and their members.
The award will be given to the club that accumulated the highest total
score for points awarded to its members in conformation classes. Conformation
will include all regular and non regular classes.
Rules

Each competitor must be a member of record to the club they represent.

Each competitor can only compete for one club, and must declare the
club they are representing prior to the start of competition.

It is the responsibility of each winner to report their wins to the
individual designated to keep score.

Points will be awarded for class placements according to the following
point schedule. To earn specified numbers of points, the following minimum
number of dogs must be in competition:

For example, a dog winning second place in a class of eight earns
3 points.

Best Of Breed earns 7 points

Best Junior Handler earns 5 Points

Best Of Opposite earns 5 points

Award Of Merit earns 3 points

Best Of Winners 2 points

Best In Sweepstakes 2 points

Best In Futurity 2 points
There will be no additional points awarded to those that receive Winners
or Reserve, Best Junior or Best Senior Puppy in Sweepstakes or Futurity.
The trophy will be awarded at the annual dinner to the club who has
earned the most points. The trophy will be kept with the club for the following
year and will be engraved with the clubs name prior to awarding the next
years winner. |
